Neutral Soft Look

Hey! So my friend Sabrina (http://positivelypolished.blogspot.com/) came over my house today and she taught me how to work my camera so it takes pics of eyes! Yeeess, finally I have a look for you guys! Sorry that this is so overdue. The pics you see her is my friend Sabrina being my fabulous model :)

As you can see, this look is very neutral. It's mainly consisted of gold and light brown. The products I used will be listed below.

As for the lips I used a soft nude lipstick and then placed a sheer pink gloss.

Products used:

Any Gold Shadow (I used MAC's All That Glitters)

Any Light Brown Shadow (I used Sephora's Cocoa Powder)

Any Black Mascara (I used Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara)

Any Nude Lipstick (I used MAC's Hue)

Any Sheer Pink Gloss (I used Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Cabana Crush)

Any Light Pink Blush (I used MAC's Dame Blush)

Any natural Bronzer (I used Rimmel's Natural Sun Dance 027 Bronzer)

Happy Fourth of July! + MAC Alice+Olivia Ramble

Happy Fourth of July!! Well, if you live in the US that is :) So, I was planning to show you guys my makeup that I have on...but... I just figured out that my camera is evil and refuses to take a picture of just my eye. *sigh* Anyway, I managed to take a picture of my camera though! So, just because I vowed to post SOME sort of pictuure...here is a picture of my camera (and my eye looking slightly creepy... the flash caught me by suprise hehe...)

Ooh, and do you all wanna see my doggy? You probably don't... but I'm gonna show him anyway.

Awhhh, tangito :) Mi bebito chicito. Hahaha sorry. Isn't he such a good model? Look at him workin' that camera. Awh man, I didn't get his bandana! He's wearing this fourth of july bandana that the groomers but on him. Well anyway! I'm kind of excited for the Alice+OIivia MAC collection that is coming out soon! It's not as large as MAC's other collections but I love the colors! It comes with three Dazzleglass Cremes, three pigments, and three nailpolishes. I really want the aqua/green pigment and the bright pink dazzleglass creme. Temptalia has great pictures of the products, so go check out her website for them.

June Favourites

So... this is exciting! It's my first Favourites blog! I'm always so confused on how you're suppose to spell it... is it 'Favourites' or 'Favorites'. Cause people use both... which one do you use?

Anyway, let me get started!

This is the L'Oreal Clean Definition mascara. I've been using this 24/7 this month. I don't think I have even reached for another mascara. The mascara wand is really flexible, which at first I thought was a little strange, but it really doesn't make a difference. It applies completely clump free if you brush through in a slow even motion. It really gives you a natural look.

*Urban Decay Ammo Palette* Okay, so this is pretty amazing. This palette comes with Urban Decay's ten best selling shadows. These include: Smog, Mildew, Oil Slick, Last Call, Chopper, Maui Wowie, Shattered, Polyster Bride, Grifter, & Sin. Let me start off by saying these are SO pigmented it's curazy. Most of them are very glittery, which people might not like. Before I bought it, I heard they were super glittery so I thought I wouldn't like it, but I LOVE it. I don't use the sponge aplicator. I just tossed that away. This is 36 dollars. *I'm deffinetly gonna do some tutorials using this*

*Baby Sparks Dazzle Glass* So I went to MAC and got my first dazzleglass! I was so excited and when I saw this color I fell in love. It's a pretty baby pink with blue/purple glitter in it. It has a brush applicator...I'm not gonna talk much about this product because I will be doing a seperate review on this.

...PRETTY LITTLE LIARS!!! :) I am completely obsessed with this show!! I've started reading the books and they are just as amazing. So Ezra and Aria are my new favorite couple! (Other than Damon/Elena and Hermoine/Ron of course). I can't believe 'A.' sent the letter to Aria's mother! Ugh :/ Can't wait for the next episode!

Forever 21 Haul

So... I'm guilty :(

I got lazy.

I haven't updated in about... um...forever? SORRY, it's that I was on vacation at the beach and well- yeah. The summerness got to me. BUT ANYHU- I'm back and have a haul for you.

:O "WHAT? A HAUL? REALLY?" yesss a haul :O now, I think I'm forced to say this since...well...EVERYONE does when they do a haul... okay, here it goes:

I AM NOT BRAGGING.

A HAUL COMES WITH PART OF BEING A 'BEAUTY BLOGGER'

Okay :) All done! I just had to since some incompetent people hate :)

So let me stop rambling and get to the haul:

Okay, so the first thing I got was this veeerry pretty necklace (sorry about my fail of trying to make it in a shape of a heart... well, I tried). It has two keys (that remind me of Tiffany keys...which are completely different...w.e... let me dream), a heart, a lock in a shape of a heart, and this other heart with carvings in it. It's less than $10 and hangs long.

This is a cream colored vest type cardigan. I would pair it with the silver necklace and a colorful tank top. Then jean shorts and maybe some brown boots/or converse. (I'd go with the converse...well, that's cause I'm a converse girl). It was around $15.

These are two tanktops that I bought, each three dollars. Yeah, nothing special. Just tanktops.

This is a very very cute vintag-ey looking earings... but...as you see...the one on the right is missing one of the ornaments! :O I literally got home...took it out... and it was broken. CHEAP-O. Ugh :/ That's the bad thing about Forever 21 jewelry :( *sigh* I'm so desperate to wear it that I might even rip out the ornament from the left so it's even...ayy. They were about five bucks, I think.

Last but DEFFINETLY not least was this really cute slouchy shirt. On one of your shoulders it kinda hangs down and it's baggy which I think looks VERY cute :) It has three cute bows that looked like they've been sketched and I've been looking for this type of slouchy type shirt, and when I FINALLY found it I was soo excited. This was around 17 dollars.

Okay, so that's it! So I hope you got an idea on what would be a good buy and what would not (*cough* cheap earrings *cough*)

OKAY- so this was the second product that I got for my graduation present! :) I had heard tons of reviews about this product so I had to buy it. I was soo excited to buy this prorudct. It's a pretty milky soft pale pink color with a bit of shimmer. I'm very content with this buy.

I do have a problem with this lipglass though... after it's been on your lips for a while...it gets reaaally sticky. It almost feels like glue on my lips... hahaha, that sounds bad but my hair gets stuck to my lips and it's a bit of a mess. Last night I went out to the movies with a couple of friends and it was a bit windy and my friend's hair got stuck on my lips! Hahah, of course we laughed it off, but it was pretty gross.

Though it has that problem with the consistancy... it's such a pretty color that I can't help but to keep it and wear it :P But if you hate sticky lipglosses, I would NOT buy this product. But, if you can see pass the stickyness of it (like I can), I would buy it cause it's a very nice color.

Oh and so let me just tell you all how my prom went... it was soo much fun!! :D The decorations were beautiful and they had this photographer taking pics of us and it was just AMAZING. I danced and danced and danced and well...DANCED. My two friends got a LITTLE crazy though... O.o I sorta had to keep an eye on them :P

I really wanna thank this youtube beauty guru 'CosmeticsCharlotte72'. She helped me get ideas for my makeup and nail color for prom and it helped TONS, so you guys should DEFFINETLY check her out, she is awesome!

Ahhh okay, so lemme start off by saying that today was my Graduation!! YES! No, not my highschool graduation, my 8th grade graduation. It was soo awesome but very sad because my bff of almost 8 years is moving away to Chicago :( I know! It sucks.

Well, as a graduation present my mom took me to M.A.C. and I bought three things. (I will be doing a review very soon on the two other things I bought). One of the prodcuts I bought was Woodwinked Eyeshadow. At first I was a little skeptical, because I thought it might look exactly like 'All That Glitters' (which I already have.) But I decided to go and buy it anyway, and when I got home I swatched it next to All That Glitters and they were COMPLETELY different.

All That Glitters is A LOT more redish, and less honeylike. I really really like Woodwinked and I'm very happy with this product. There are no Cons so I recomend 100 percent that you buy this product!

OOH, and tonight is my 8th Grade Prom!!! Ima dance all night ;) Hahha, but I AM very excited. And my friend who moved away last year after 7th grade is coming to visit and she's gonna be at the Prom so I'm sooo stoked to see her. It's going to be loads of fun and I can't wait.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Stick in Pink Please

Okay, so this is a review on the Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Stick in Pink Please. I personally love this lipstick. It's very smooth and creamy and has a SLIGHT flavor to it. Very mild though. I really like the packaging as well.

So I have some Pros & Cons about this product that I'm goint to list below:

Pros: Smoothe & Creamy

Very Pigmented

& Moisturizing

Cons: Doesn't last very long on your lips

When it's time to add a new coat... it get's stick/goopey

Even though it has those two cons, I DO recommend buying this product. I really like it and wear it to school almost every day. You WILL get your money's worth :)
